About Me
(b. Turkey / Izmir 1980) Dijle Neva Yigitbas also known as Neva Deelay, is an artist and musician in performing arts and film. She is active in Stockholm. Her practice is at the intersection of art and music. Her main medium is music and image and she is interested in how these forms can help create courage, inner security in the viewer.
Through norm-critical questions and musical expressionism, she creates works that challenge the boundaries between sound and image, fantasy and reality.
Dijle debuted in 2019 with Galax-Ma an audiovisual manifesto, a conceptual feminist utopia that integrates music, film and performance.
Right now she is currently working on a choreographic concert entitled DEVOTED/Frequencies in sound and movement. A collaboration with choreographer Lisa Janbell.
